A SeaStar is a large heat-resistant concrete fire pit, custom designed for a beach environment. Each SeaStar weighs approximately 3000 pounds and measure 8'x8'. SeaStars have a custom concrete design mix, specifically made for ocean conditions and high temperature fire.

The SeaStars are tried and tested public artwork -- they're safe, can hold the fire, and are a public-proved sculpture. There are currently 4 SeaStars installed on Ocean Beach that have taken the stress of the public, the sand, the sea, the salt and remained a beautiful publicx sculpture that is used every night to light up the beach.
